The Shelley Bra Pattern (linked through the photo) looks simple and with lots of support. Problem? I’m not a sewer, I’m a yarnworker. I knit and crochet.

Thus, It’s time for some pattern-making.

As you can see, I’ve already started figuring out how I intend to start this. The project is also on Ravelry, and I’ll be updating with my progress as I go. I feel like it’s about time I was able to just knit myself a bra.

Almost Shelley

I think only one person follows me so this may seem like a silly post to have, but I wanted to warn everyone I am starting a knitting project, and I intend to blog the process. The tag will be #shelleybra: it’s a bra, in case you haven’t guessed. Feel free to block the tag if you need to.

I knit too and just learned to crochet. That’s a happy activity for me too, as I’ve been crocheting a blanket while watching Granada Holmes! 🙂

Crocheting is really satisfying because it goes so quickly. In the meanwhile knitting takes me much longer but I like the stitch coverage (my crocheting always has those gaps between the stitches, because I loathe tight crocheting). I tend to yarnwork while watching things too! It keeps my hands busy.

Finished three awful colours of yarn. Occasionally it’s nice to have yarn that I just want to get rid of because it means I don’t feel at all badly about trying new things and ending up with something horrid.
