Hey hey hey professors who Don’t Know Shit are the ABSOLUTE WORST esp when you’re paying them to teach you and they just won’t. I don’t know what you can do about this if you don’t want to complain formally, but to make things easier it’s likely everyone else in your class is also struggling. Get together with other people (& complain as a group) & learn the material together, teaching each other. Best wishes xx

Unfortunately, this prof is Best Friends with the chair. So a complaint won’t do much; they do research together. But we are banded into a tiny angry guild of students who teach each other, so there’s that!

I knit too and just learned to crochet. That’s a happy activity for me too, as I’ve been crocheting a blanket while watching Granada Holmes! 🙂

Crocheting is really satisfying because it goes so quickly. In the meanwhile knitting takes me much longer but I like the stitch coverage (my crocheting always has those gaps between the stitches, because I loathe tight crocheting). I tend to yarnwork while watching things too! It keeps my hands busy.

Pass the happy along! When you see this reply with 5 things that make you happy , and then send this to the last 10 people in your activity!!!

I like this idea, so here’s my five:

1) Knitting/Crocheting. I enjoy seeing something come together.

2) The fact that my class is almost over. One more course and then I’m done for the summer.

3) Coffee. God knows Starbucks has saved my arse this term.

4) On the topic of consumables: Wawa pretzels. Recently was introduced to them and I keep getting more. It’s a problem, but they’re so good.

5) Sleep. I miss sleep. I get a five-day weekend and sleep is going to be such a wonderful thing.
